Parent teacher meeting

Teacher: Good evening, thank you for coming in Mr…….!

FATHER: My pleasure, so how is my son doing in his lessons?

Teacher: Well, there are a few issues I would like to discuss.

Father: Ah, that doesn’t sound too good. Which subject shall we start on?

Teacher: I shall start with the good news. His recent exam result, is amazing! As you probably know from the report he has achieved “A” grade in English. He has a limitless amount of writing skills. He also is a good sportsman and a team player. Though sometimes when playing football, he gets a bit rowdy and loud. But that is his character so who can help him?   (Laughs)

Father: And you think that’s funny do you? (Slamming hands down on the table and rose sharply now towering over Teacher)

Teacher: N… n… n… no of  course not Mr I was just saying the fact that he is a bit loud, occasionally. (Shaking while she said it)

Father: Well, I’m glad that’s settled. From now on he is the best and brightest student you have ever taught. Oh yes, I nearly forgot if he gets low grades in his any subject you could easily change them. Couldn’t you? (Sitting down again lowering his voice to a whisper with the last 2 sentences)

Teacher: No o do I mean ………

Father: Is that a problem? (Saying it forcefully)

Teacher: Yes actually, you see I’m unable to do that, so, sorry but I think you should leave now.

Father: Are you a stupid little teacher, telling me to leave? You don’t have the right to say that to me! (Slaps her then tips the table over.)

Teacher: Calm it down or I’ll call head teacher!

Father: You can’t do anything you silly little ugly………..!

Son: Dad! Dad! She is my teacher. Please don’t!
Teacher: Stop it you evil monster! Why did you come,
Son: obviously for parents and teacher meeting (in low voice)
Teacher: Where’s your mum? (Asking student)
Son: Well my mum is busy shopping!
Teacher (Tears running down her face) ran to call Headmaster
Son: That was cool dad.
Let’s go home son, if you don’t want to see your father in jail.

I have some tips for you to have a better life at boarding school.
Firstly, always respect your teachers because in return teachers will help you and support you. Be friendly with everyone and make as many friends as possible. But be careful when making new friends make sure they are not bad people. Because company of bad friends may turn into drinking, smoking, drugging and etc. Next don’t make enemies because at some point you may end up in a fight.  Serious fight may force school to suspend or expel you.
Another tip, get showered early before all the hot water gets used up. Let me share an experience with you. It was first day at school after the Christmas holidays and I couldn’t wake up early may due to my unusual sleeping routine in holidays. When I wake up all my roommates were going to the breakfast. I quickly went to take a shower. Freezing and frosty water gave me very uncomfortable feeling. Believe me it is a terrible feeling. I waited and waited for the hot water to come but it was used up.
Last tip, take part in every sport because it will keep you healthy and fresh.

Friends

Now I will tell you a little bit about my two friends who were totally different to each other.
Ali was my roommate as well as my best friend. He was a nice and friendly guy. He came into boarding school because his parents used to work abroad. He loved the boarding life because he was able to approach teachers at any time to get help from them in his studies.
My other friend Justin was a muscular guy. He loved sports very much. Sport was also the reason of  his joining boarding school. He loved his boarding life because he was able to play and learn a lot games. The only thing I hated about him was his bulling of juniors. He was more like a devil for the juniors.
But don’t worry about bullies, boarding schools are very good at handling the bullies.

Are you going to a boarding school?

Do you have any idea of what it is like to live in a boarding school? Well this article can help you to know about boarding school and the student's lifestyle.
I joined CHAND BAGH School in 2009. It is one of the best boarding schools of the Pakistan and the largest boarding school in all Asia. My first week in the Chand Bagh School was the most boring ever I had. But like me don’t judge boarding schools from the first seven days.
After a week I thought my whole school like would be very rough. But as soon as I started making new friends I felt so lucky to be in a boarding school. I tried to make as many friends as I could so that everybody would know me and I could get friendly with them.
